Title IX Investigations/Compliance


In 1972, Congress passed Title IX of the Education Amendments Act to promote equity in academic and athletic programs, prevent hostile environments on the basis of sex, prohibit sexual harassment and sexual violence, protect from retaliation and remedy the effects of other gender-based forms of discrimination.  Easter & Cavosie’s employment attorneys partner with educational institutions to serve as neutral investigators in cases involving alleged discrimination, harassment, and sexual violence.  Our Title IX investigators are trained in trauma-informed interviewing.
