After working for Milestone for four years, Roy became an estimator and project manager for Dave O’Mara Contractors located in North Vernon, Indiana.  While at O’Mara, Roy managed numerous public and private projects.  He worked with several trades, including earthwork, asphalt paving, concrete work, underground utilities, and horizontal boring.  Roy’s main focus was on new school and reconstruction projects, apartment buildings, road construction, underground utilities, and commercial buildings. During his last year of law school, Roy worked in ValparaisoUniversity’s civil law clinic helping low income families on a variety of legal matters.

Roy graduated with distinction in 2002 from Purdue University at IUPUI with a Bachelor of Science degree.  Roy graduated from the Valparaiso University School of Law in 2005.  After his first year of law school, Roy clerked in a small general practice that also served as the attorney for several local municipalities in northwest Indiana.
